HRF was founded by Mr. A.Vijayakumar, a social activist with the vision to empower the deprived section of the society in the year 2001. Then the organization was registered on 11th April 2002 with 10 general body members. Initially the organization was involved in creating awareness on labour welfare activities to enable their legal rights. The regular awareness programmes familiarized the organization among the differently able persons, local communities which enabled the organization to extend its activities supporting the development needs of the poor community. During 2004, HRF starts forming women SHGs as per the norms of TNCDW Ltd., Due to the quality service and regular maintenance to SHGs, HRF get approved by TNCDW Ltd., during the year 2005. The national integration and overall development of the nation depends on the healthy development of the youths, with the perspective HRF starts forming youth clubs from 2006 to train them on healthy socio-economic development practice. From 2007 HRF start focus on environment conservation and promotion and completed numbers of health and sanitation programmes in its project villages. During 2008 onwards, HRF started forming farmers clubs to enable the access the scheme opportunities and various sources for their sustainable development. The organization crossed 9 years of service with the community support and the support of various government departments.
